Does tint need to be dark to help?

When asked about window film, most immediately think of dark car tint. But did you know that window tinting does not have to be dark? If your concern is glare or privacy, a darker and/or more reflective film is needed. But if you want to increase safety and reduce heat, fading and harmful UV (ultraviolet) rays, there are virtually clear films available.
